Find the perfect size for your jewelry
How to choose the perfect size
We recommend taking the time to measure carefully before placing an order. Use a tape measure or a piece of string to get accurate measurements. If you are gifting a piece of jewelry and are unsure of the size, our tips below can also guide you.
Bracelets
The size of your bracelet depends on where you want to wear it (close to the wrist or slightly lower) and your comfort preferences:
1. Measure your wrist: Use a tape measure or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your wrist, where you want to wear the bracelet.
2. Add some allowance: For a comfortable fit, add 0.5 cm to 1 cm to your measurement. If you prefer a looser bracelet, you can add up to 1.5 cm.
3. Example: If your wrist measures 16 cm, opt for a bracelet size between 16.5 cm and 17 cm.
Necklaces
The choice of your necklace length depends on your body shape, the style you are looking for, and where you want it to rest:
1. Measure your neck: Wrap a tape measure around your neck, where you want the necklace to rest. This measurement corresponds to the total length of the chain.
2. Choose the appropriate length:
• 40 cm (choker): Rests close to the neck, ideal for elegant looks or layering.
• 45 cm (princess): Rests at the collarbone, perfect for everyday wear.
• 50 cm (matinee): Rests just below the collarbone, ideal for a pendant.
• 60 cm or more (opera): Creates an elongated effect, often worn with multiple necklaces.
3. Impact of pendants: If your necklace includes a pendant, consider its size and weight, as this can influence how the necklace sits.
Tip: Consider layering different lengths for a modern and trendy look.
Anklets
Anklets add a touch of elegance to your style, but they must be well-adjusted for comfortable wear:
1. Measure your ankle: Wrap a tape measure or a piece of string around the part of the ankle where you want to wear the chain.
2. Add some allowance: Add 0.5 cm to 1 cm to prevent the chain from being too tight. If you prefer a looser chain, add up to 1.5 cm.
3. Example: For an ankle measuring 22 cm, choose an anklet between 22.5 cm and 23 cm.
Additional tips
• Between two sizes?
If your measurement falls between two sizes, generally choose the larger size for a more comfortable everyday fit.
• When gifting jewelry
When choosing jewelry as a gift and you don't know the exact size, the most popular sizes are generally:
- Bracelets: 17 cm to 18 cm
- Anklets: 23 cm
- Necklaces: 45 cm (classic length)
• Everyone is unique
Comfort can vary according to personal preference. Some like to wear their jewelry snug, while others prefer a bit more looseness.
We always recommend taking a measurement before ordering to choose the size that will suit you best.
